Paseo Urbano

Paseo Urbano is a design and financial proposal for affordable housing on the San Antonio River Walk presented to HUD.

As the oldest municipality in Texas, The Alamo city boasts a rich cultural history of diversity. This diversity is the sign of a healthy city, and we believe that high-quality affordable housing in a rich social setting is indispensable for cultivating diversity. Throughout our narrative, drawings and financial model, we strive to communicate our conviction for how affordable housing should look in San Antonio; namely, it should elevate the quality of life for low- and moderate-income residents by connecting them with each other and the River, capitalize on the social and financial benefits of mixed use, and provide a beautiful architectural backdrop for daily life.
